Quartz Ring

I was inspired to make these jewelry pieces by a ring I bought off the side of the road in Hawaii last year.  The ring was literally a piece of wire that was wrapped in the shape of a ring with a simple but beautiful design in the front.   I thought it was so simple yet unique and was totally something I could make.

Gemstones bring many different types of positive energy into our lives.  They also make a nice gift to give someone and why not turn a simple gemstone into a pretty piece of jewelry to give a friend.

DIY Quartz Ring

What You'll Need:

1. Crystal or Rose Quartz
2. Beading Wire: 24 gadge
3. Wire Cutters
4. Pliers

1. Wrap beading wire around a marker with both sides

2.Place your stone in the center and wrap the wire around each side.

3. Take one end of the loose wire and wrap it around the base of the ring several times. (Do the same to both sides of the ring.)

4. Use some pliers to tightly clamp together the wire.

5.  Add a small amount of E600 glue and let dry.

What You'll Need:

1. Crystal or Rose Quartz
2. Necklace Chain
3. Beading Wire: 24 gadge
4. Wire Cutters
5. Pliers

1. Cut about 6-7 inches of beading wire.

2. Fold wire in half

3. Twist creating a loop.

4. Place stone in the middle of the loop

5.  Wrap wire around both sides of the stone a few times.

6. Tuck the end of the wire under the wrapped wire.

7. Cut any extra wire and add a bit of E600.

8. Let the glue dry and string your necklace through.
