End of Summer Looks

I have been taking in all I can during these last few weeks of summer with mini day trips to the beach, exploring the city and just enjoying the quietness of staying home in the AC.  I can’t complain, this summer has been one of the best summers I’ve had in a long time.

With that said, this last week here in L.A. has been a scorcher and during this massive heat wave I’ll admit it’s sometimes hard to put myself together lol.  I tend to keep it simple with outfits that require the least amount of items.  My solution is sticking to light dresses and rompers.  They take all the thinking out of an outfit and with the right one, it can really be the statement of an outfit.  Here are three of my favorite summer Dresses and Rompers from TOBI

My clothing color palette is fairly neutral.  I love whites, browns, greys, blues, olive tones and sometimes I’ll throw in some pinks.

I am always attracted to stripes when it comes to patterns, so it’s natural of me to be drawn to this striped dress.  It’s such a cute laid back dress that I styled with sneakers, a clutch and a handkerchief tied around my neck.

It’s no surprise I love florals, however when it comes to clothing I’m very picky and I think most florals go out of style very quickly.  I love this floral romper because it’s not too busy and is minimal in color variation.  I always like to add a bit of blue and tan to an outfit so I threw on a denim jacket, my tan leather bag and blush colored leather sneakers.

This last look is the simplest.  Sometimes all you need are cute heels to dress up an outfit.  I paired this olive romper with some tan mules and a Steve Madden cross body purse.  Keeping it simple is always the best way to go.
